Progress Not  Perfection & Meaning Over Fear

Peace in Progress is a 10‑week treatment group for adults and older adolescents with OCD and anxiety who are ready to stop organizing life around fear and move forward with intention.

Peace in Progress is grounded in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), a gold‑standard, evidence‑based approach for treating anxiety and OCD.

Instead of fighting anxiety, individuals learn how to work with it—building confidence, resilience, and long‑term change.

Individuals gain a simple, practical understanding of the anxiety cycle—including intrusive thoughts, fear, avoidance, safety behaviors, and compulsions. You’ll learn how to interrupt these patterns using skills rooted in self‑compassion and intentional action.

ERP interrupts that loop. It teaches your brain that distress is temporary and not dangerous. But ERP is hard. Sitting with fear goes against every instinct you have. That is where ACT and mindfulness become essential.
