About Me

My clinical specialties include working with adults, and older adults (65+) navigating anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, life transitions, grief and loss, with a focus on identity exploration and acceptance. I am especially passionate about helping people in high‑intensity emotional fields—like healthcare, veterinary work, and caregiving—reconnect with themselves and find compassion.

My philosophy is grounded in the belief that no one should have to face life's challenges alone. I view therapy as a partnership where I walk alongside individuals rather than direct their path. I honor each person as the expert of their own experience and believe that meaningful support begins when people feel genuinely heard and their stories are taken seriously. I strive to create a safe space where individuals feel respected and empowered to show up authentically and decide what moving forward looks like on their own terms.

My therapeutic approach is humanistic and person-centered, meeting each individual within a non-judgmental, anti-oppressive environment. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based and trauma-informed models, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) while also drawing from existential therapy and the search for personal meaning. I believe in the power of art, play, and animal-assisted interventions to support deeper emotional expression and healing. I also value the natural world as a mirror for self-development, using nature-based reflection to help individuals regulate emotions, deepen self-awareness, and strengthen their connection to themselves, others, and the world around them.
