About Me
My clinical philosophy is rooted in the belief that growth and healing happen within safe, supportive relationships. I am passionate about creating a space where clients feel fully heard, seen, and respected. I believe clients are the experts on their own lives and experiences, and I view therapy as a collaborative process. I welcome feedback throughout our work together and encourage clients to share what is or isn’t working so we can tailor each session to your unique needs, strengths, and goals.
I also recognize the privilege I hold both professionally and personally. I strive to bring cultural humility and responsiveness to my work, both inside and outside of the therapy space.
My approach is grounded in evidence-informed, trauma-informed, and strength-based care. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational interviewing, Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Narrative therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients in building resilience, developing practical coping skills, and creating meaningful change.
I enjoy supporting teens, young adults, and families navigating life's challenges and transitions. My clinical areas of focus include trauma, neurodivergence, identity exploration, eating disorder recovery, and spirituality.
As a mental health intern, I work under the supervision of a licensed clinician who supports my ongoing growth and helps ensure you receive thoughtful and high-quality care. I view our first session as an opportunity for you to learn more about me, ask questions about my approach, discuss goals and decide whether you feel comfortable moving forward together. Finding the right therapeutic fit is important, and I want you to feel empowered to choose the clinician who best meets your needs. If we decide we’re a good fit, I would be honored to support you on your journey towards healing and growth.
